| Jeg beskriver mig selv som | I'm a big horror guy. I read quite a bit- mostly horror novels and books on trash cinema/carnival life/old timey mechanical toys/other coolness. I write (usually about werewolves, zombies, and hot gals) and hang out with writers. Whenever I'm reading one of my stories at a show, I enjoy trying to make people leave the room because they can't take my level of goofy inappropriateness or goriness. Over the next few years I plan on opening up my own horror-themed bookstore in the Chicago area. I write reviews of horror movies for an up and coming website. Er...The one and only time I was forced to go fishing I hooked Cthulhu, who was snoozing at the bottom of a shallow river. Said he got all tuckered out from the...uh...'ravaging of innocents' I believe it was. Anyway, we got to talking, discovered we have lots in common, and have been pals ever since. Sometimes we go to the mall and check out babes together. What with the sneaky tentacles and all he can snag Mr. Pibbs out of a vending machine like nobody's business. Um...I'm often told I look like Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction era Tim Roth- so sometimes I'll walk into a diner and exclaim 'This is a robbery!' in a heavy British accent. The police don't seem to find it as funny as I do. I look pretty normal at first glance- no piercings for me, and the tattoos and scars aren't readily visible. I often look angry, though I rarely am. Eh...I'm smiling on the inside. I'm big into Rockabilly/Psychobilly. Love The Quakes, Guana Batz, Zombie Death Train, Horrorpops, etc. Also I get all grinny for some Screeching Weasel, Mr. T Experience, Muffs sing-songy action. Can go all electronic with some VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, The Faint kinda goodness. I don't give a jackbooted goddamn about Rob Zombie. I can be a romantic sap in spite of myself sometimes- I'm still mesmerized by things that captivated me when I was, like, five years old. Lightening bugs are awesome, for example. Road trips are a blast. The smell of old books. |
