I'm a 31-year-old ecologist. This has enabled me a flexible, exciting, and rewarding career of conserving the natural resources (including ink!) we all depend on. While there is the academic side, I'm practical, down-to-earth, and my other interests, such as tattoos, create an intriguing dichotomy to this side. I'm guided largely by a sense of what I feel is just, and follow my own path. I could take or leave society in general, though that does not mean I'm not an active participant. Ecology is a great career for me because it affords flexibility in that I don't even need to conform to set work hours, and it is satisfying to me. My goals are to help in some small way, gain experiences along the way, and have just motives.

I'm comfortable with who I am and believe that you'll find my diverse interests unique and intriguing. (ok, so how many guys do you know out there can say come in off a fire to read science books, teach, write, or have a high education level and be so practical, patient, and down to earth, yet sometimes intriguingly edgy. I also have a great deal of respect for women, which, as you know, is not universal, and an appealing maturity.

I'm a quiet guy yet able to talk to just about anyone on a variety of places and topics. I'd be the guy in the corner watching what's going on but easy to talk to if I start a conversation with someone intelligent or am approached.

Some further info about my interests: I enjoy outdoor activities, seeing new places, music, photography, sports, reading and pursuing knowledge/awareness, and traveling, sometimes to random places. I'm not into clubbing or hanging out consistently in smoky bars, but enjoy spending time with close friends and interest

Lady friends range from "the girl next door" to fully sleeved and heavily tattooed (who would inevitably be keenly intelligent with softer sides away from the cutting edge). In general, I most respect women who have goals and are their own people...and who have a certain aura about them that encompasses a desire to do good things...and, well, the more tattoos, the better...
